(Attorney Registration No. 2824118)

DECISION & ORDER ON
MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT

Motion by Yehuda David Taller for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Taller was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on June 25, 1997. By opinion and order of this Court dated June 21, 2017, Taller was suspended from the practice of law for a period of one year, commencing July 21, 2017. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated January 31, 2019, Taller's first motion for reinstatement was denied without prejudice to renew upon submission of proper papers. By decision and order on motion dated July 17, 2019, Taller's renewed motion for reinstatement was held in abeyance and the matter was referred to the Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on Taller's character and fitness to practice law. On or about December 23, 2019, Taller was notified by the Committee on Character and Fitness that, based upon the disclosures he made during the course of his Subcommittee hearing, its investigation was being held in abeyance pending a referral of those disclosures to the Grievance Committee for the Second, Eleventh, and Thirteenth Judicial Districts for review and appropriate action.

Now, on the Court's own motion, and upon the papers filed in support of the motion for reinstatement and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion for reinstatement is denied given the determination suspending Yehuda David Taller from the practice of law for a period of three years, decided herewith (Matter of Taller, ____AD3d____ [Appellate Division Docket No. 2020-08653]).
