Application by respondent for assignment of counsel pursuant to Criminal Procedure Law

§ 380.55 (2) on an appeal from an order of the Criminal Court of the City of New York, Queens County, entered October 21, 2022.

Upon the affirmed representation of Matthew Thomas, Esq. That the respondent continues to be eligible for assignment of counsel, it is

ORDERED that, pursuant to County Law § 722, Appellate Advocates is assigned as counsel to prosecute the appeal; and it is further,

ORDERED, on the court's own motion, that the respondent's brief shall be served and filed on or before November 6, 2023; and it is further,

ORDERED that appellant, if it be so advised, may serve and file a reply brief within 7 days of service of respondent's brief upon it.
