Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated November 14, 2022. Motion by the respondent for a preference in the calendaring of the appeal. Separate motion by the respondent to be transferred to the custody of Rikers Island jail, pending hearing and determination of the appeal.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion for a preference and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, and upon the papers filed in support of the motion to be transferred to the custody of Rikers Island jail and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion for a preference in the calendaring of the appeal is granted and the appeal will be calendared expeditiously; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion to be transferred to the custody of Rikers Island jail is denied.
