| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Appeal from an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, dated January 26, 2022. Motion by the appellant, inter alia, to enjoin the Nassau County Department of Social Services, Support Collection Unit, from taking steps to suspend his license to practice law and his driver's license, and garnish his wages, pending hearing and determination of the appeal, and to waive payment of the filing fee. Separate motion by the appellant to extend the time to perfect the appeal.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion, inter alia, to enjoin the Nassau County Department of Social Services, Support Collection Unit, from taking steps to suspend the appellant's license to practice law and his driver's license, and garnish his wages, pending hearing and determination of the appeal, and to waive payment of the filing fee and the papers filed in opposition thereto, and upon the papers filed in support of the motion to extend the time to perfect the appeal and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion, inter alia, to enjoin the Nassau County Department of Social Services, Support Collection Unit, from taking steps to suspend the appellant's license to practice law and his driver's license, and garnish his wages, pending hearing and determination of the appeal, and to waive payment of the filing fee is denied; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion to extend the time to perfect the appeal is granted, and on or before March 27, 2024, the appellant shall serve and file the record or appendix and the appellant's brief via NYSCEF, if applicable, or, if NYSCEF is not mandated, serve the record or appendix and the appellant's brief and upload digital copies of the record or appendix and the appellant's brief, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website.
