DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeals and cross-appeals from two orders of the Supreme Court, Westchester County, dated August 18, 2022, and September 15, 2022, respectively. Motion by Mental Hygiene Legal Service, inter alia, in effect, to dismiss the appeals on the ground that they have been rendered academic by the death of the respondent-appellant Rose P. on March 10, 2023.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied.
