DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION
| Alastair Sims, Respondent, v Lance Regis, Appellant. |
Appeal from a judgment on inquest of the District Court of Nassau County, First District, entered August 17, 2023.
On the court's own motion it is
ORDERED that insofar as the appeal is from a judgment on inquest, the appeal is dismissed, as no appeal lies from an order entered upon the default of the appealing party (see CPLR 5511).
Appellant's remedy, if they be so advised, is to move in the trial court to vacate the
judgment of inquest.
