DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeal from an order of the Family Court, Kings County, dated December 19, 2023. Motion by the appellant to stay enforcement of so much of the order as directed that an order of protection of the same court would be in effect until February 28, 2024, and to extend the order of protection, pending hearing and determination of the appeal, and for a preference in the calendaring of the appeal.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which for a preference in the calendaring of the appeal is denied as unnecessary (see 22 NYCRR 670.3[b]); and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion is otherwise denied.
