2013-04990 In the Matter of Krista F. Selig, admitted as Krista Frances Selig, a suspended attorney. (Attorney Registration No. 3977121)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT |
Motion by Krista F. Selig for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Selig was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on July 25, 2001, under the name Krista Frances Selig. By opinion and order of this Court dated February 4, 2015, Selig was suspended from the practice of law for one year, commencing on March 6, 2015 (see Matter of Selig, 126 AD3d 39). By decision and order on motion dated June 3, 2019, Selig's motion for reinstatement was held in abeyance, and the matter was referred to a Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on her character and fitness to practice law.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, and upon the report of the Committee on Character and Fitness and the exhibits annexed thereto, and the papers filed in response thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied.
We find that Krista F. Selig, admitted as Krista Frances Selig, does not demonstrate the requisite character and fitness to practice law.
LASALLE, P.J., DILLON, DUFFY, BARROS and BRATHWAITE NELSON, JJ., concur.
