DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION
| The People of the State of New York, Respondent, v Joshua Eisen, Appellant. |
Motion by appellant for permission to file an abridged record on an appeal from a judgment of conviction of the Orangetown Justice Court, Rockland County, rendered June 14, 2024.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is granted.
In support of the motion, appellant avers that the sole issue on appeal is the Justice Court's decision denying appellant's motion to dismiss the accusatory information on statutory speedy trial grounds. Under the circumstances, and in the absence of opposition, the motion is granted (see 22 NYCRR 731.9 [b] [2]).
