ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE

Appeals from four orders of the Supreme Court, Westchester County, dated August 5, 2024, July 31, 2024, July 19, 2024, and September 17, 2024, respectively. Motion by the appellant, inter alia, to stay all proceedings in the above-entitled proceeding and to stay enforcement of the orders, pending hearing and determination of the appeals.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appellant is directed to show cause before this Court why an order should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal from the order dated July 19, 2024, on the ground that no appeal lies as of right from an order made sua sponte, and dismissing the appeals on the ground that no appeal lies as of right from orders that are not the result of motions made on notice and leave to appeal has not been granted (see CPLR 5701), and/or dismissing the appeals on the ground that the orders were superseded by an order of the same court dated October 1, 2024, by serving and filing, via NYSCEF, a digital copy of an affirmation or an affidavit on that issue on or before December 26, 2024; and it is further,

ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court, or his designee, shall serve a copy of this order to show cause upon the parties to the appeals by uploading a copy of this order to show cause to the NYSCEF system.
