Appeal from an order of the Family Court, Suffolk County, dated April 21, 2023. Motion by the appellant's assigned counsel to hold the appeal in abeyance. Separate motion by the appellant's assigned counsel to abate the appeal upon the death of the appellant on October 6, 2024.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion to abate the appeal and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, and upon the papers filed in support of the motion to hold the appeal in abeyance and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion to abate the appeal is granted, and the appeal is dismissed; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion to hold the appeal in abeyance is denied as academic.
