| ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE |
Appeals from two orders of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated July 22, 1994, and August 29, 1994, respectively, which were determined by decision and order of this Court dated April 29, 1996. By decision and order on motion of this Court dated May 15, 2023, the appellant was precluded from making further motions or applications in connection with these appeals, without prior leave of this Court. Application by the appellant for leave to file a motion, inter alia, for certain injunctive relief.
Upon the papers filed in support of the application and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the application is denied; and it is further,
ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the parties are directed to show cause why an order should or should not be made and entered imposing sanctions and/or costs, if any, including appellate counsel fees, against the appellant, Gerald Aranoff, pursuant to 22 NYCRR 130-1.1(c) as this Court may deem appropriate, by uploading digital copies of affirmations or affidavits on that issue, including the amount of legal fees incurred by the respondent in connection with the appeals, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website, on or before February 18, 2025; if a self-represented party is unable to use the digital portal, they may instead file a copy of an affirmation or affidavit, with proof of service thereof, via email at [email protected] or via regular mail addressed to the Clerk of this Court on or before February 18, 2025; and it is further,
ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court, or his designee, is directed to serve the parties with a copy of this order to show cause via email to the email address provided to the Court, or if no email address is available for service by regular mail.
