| ORDER TO SHOW CAUSE |
Purported appeal by Noureldin M. Mohamed Ahmed Aly Fayek from an order of the Family Court, Richmond County, dated February 26, 2024.
On the Court's own motion, it is
ORDERED that the parties are directed to show cause why an order should or should not be made and entered recalling and vacating the decision and order of this Court dated June 21, 2024, and dismissing the purported appeal on the ground that no appeal lies from an order of a support magistrate before objections have been reviewed by a judge of the Family Court (see Family Ct Act § 439[e]), and/or dismissing the purported appeal on the ground that no notice of appeal from the order was filed by the respondent (see CPLR 5514[a], 5515[1], Family Ct Act § 1115), by uploading a digital copy of an affirmation or affidavit on that issue, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website, on or before February 21, 2025; if a self-represented party is unable to use the digital portal, they may instead file a copy of an affirmation or affidavit, with proof of service thereof, via email at [email protected] or via regular mail addressed to the Clerk of this Court on or before February 21, 2025; and it is further,
ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court, or his designee, is directed to serve a copy of this order to show cause upon the parties via email to the email address provided to this court, or if no email address is available for service by regular mail.
