Appeals from two orders of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County, dated November 21, 2023, and April 16, 2024, respectively. Motion by Elias N. Sakalis for leave to withdraw as counsel for the appellant on the appeal from the order dated November 21, 2023. Separate motion by Elias N. Sakalis for leave to withdraw as counsel for the appellant on the appeal from the order dated April 16, 2024.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion to withdraw as counsel for the appellant on the appeal from the order dated November 21, 2023, and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, and upon the papers filed in support of the motion to withdraw as counsel for the appellant on the appeal from the order dated April 16, 2024, and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motions are denied without prejudice to filing a consent to change attorney (see 22 NYCRR 670.1[c][4][A]); and it is further,
ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the time to perfect the appeals is extended, and on or before March 21, 2025, the appellant shall serve and file the records or appendices and the appellant's briefs via NYSCEF, if applicable, or, if NYSCEF is not mandated, serve the records or appendices and the appellant's briefs and upload digital copies of the records or appendices and the appellant's briefs, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website.
