Application by the defendant pursuant to CPL 530.45 to be released on his own recognizance or, in the alternative, to set bail after his conviction of assault in the second degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, upon a jury verdict, on February 27, 2025. The County Court, Suffolk County, remanded the defendant pending the imposition of sentence.
Upon the papers filed in support of the application and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
