| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Appeal from an order of the Family Court, Rockland County, dated March 11, 2024. Motion by the respondent pro se for waiver of costs, fees, and expenses, for the assignment of counsel, and to extend the time to serve and file a brief.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is for waiver of costs, fees, and expenses and for the assignment of counsel is denied, with leave to renew within 30 days of the date of this decision and order on motion, upon proper papers, including the respondent's affidavit setting forth proof that payment received by the respondent from the appellant on December 6, 2024, satisfies child support arrears; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to extend the time to serve and file a brief is granted, and on or before June 4, 2025, the respondent shall serve and file the respondent's brief via NYSCEF, if applicable, or, if NYSCEF is not mandated, serve the brief and upload a digital copy of the brief, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website.
