Appeals by Jacqueline M., also known as Jacqueline A., and separate appeals by Adam A. from a decision of the Family Court, Kings County, dated August 13, 2024. Motion by the appellant Adam A., inter alia, to deem his notice of appeal from the decision to be a premature notice of appeal from three orders of the same court, all dated September 4, 2024, and to extend the time to perfect his appeals. Application by the appellant Jacqueline M., also known as Jacqueline A., inter alia, to deem her notice of appeal from the decision to be a premature notice of appeal from the orders dated September 4, 2024, and to extend the time to perfect her appeals.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the application and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branches of the motion and the application which are to deem the notices of appeal from the decision to be premature notices of appeal from the orders dated September 4, 2024, are granted, and the notices of appeal are deemed to be premature notices of appeal from the orders dated September 4, 2024; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branches of the motion and the application which are to extend the time to perfect the appeals are granted, the appellants' time to perfect the appeals by causing the original papers constituting the record on appeal to be filed in the office of the Clerk of this Court (see 22 NYCRR 1250.9[a][5]), and by serving and filing their respective briefs via NYSCEF, if applicable, or, if NYSCEF is not mandated, by serving the appellants' briefs, and uploading a digital copy of the appellants' briefs, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website, is extended until July 9, 2025; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion and the application are otherwise denied.
