Appeals from an order of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County, dated November 1, 2023, and an order and judgment (one paper) of the same court dated May 10, 2024. Motion by the appellant to stay enforcement of the order and judgment, pending hearing and determination of the appeals, and to consolidate the appeals. Separate motion by the respondent for an extension of time to serve and file a brief.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion by the appellant and the papers filed in opposition thereto and upon the papers filed in support of the motion by the respondent and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the parties are directed to show cause why the appeals should or should not be dismissed on the ground that the appellant is not aggrieved, by serving and filing, via NYSCEF, a digital copy of an affirmation or an affidavit on that issue on or before July 28, 2025; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motions by the appellant and the respondent are held in abeyance in the interim; and it is further,
ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court, or his designee, is directed to serve a copy of this order to show cause upon counsel by uploading a copy of this order to show cause to the NYSCEF system.
