| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT |
Motion by Alan Mark Steinmetz for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Steinmetz was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on November 16, 1988. By opinion and order of this Court dated July 20, 2016, Steinmetz was suspended from the practice of law for a period of one year, commencing August 22, 2016 (see Matter of Steinmetz, 142 AD3d 175).
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied.
We find that Alan Mark Steinmetz does not demonstrate the requisite character and fitness to practice law.
