DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

2025-06796

Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., respondent,

v Denise Jackson, appellant, et al.,

defendants.

(Index No. 522713/2019)

Appeals from three orders of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated June 5, 2024, (two orders), and January 16, 2025, respectively. Motion by the appellant to consolidate the appeals from the orders dated June 5, 2024, with the appeal from the order dated January 16, 2025. Separate motion by the appellant to extend the time to perfect the appeals from the orders dated June 5, 2024. Motion by the respondent to dismiss the appeal from the order dated January 16, 2025, on the ground that no appeal lies from an order denying reargument.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motions by the appellant and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, and upon the papers filed in support of the motion by the respondent and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion by the respondent is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion to consolidate the appeals from the orders dated June 5, 2024, with the appeal from the order dated January 16, 2025, is denied as unnecessary as the appeals may be consolidated as of right (see 22 NYCRR 1250.9[f][3]); and it is further,

ORDERED that the motion to extend the time to perfect the appeals from the orders dated June 5, 2024, is granted, and on or before November 13, 2025, the appellant shall serve and file the record or appendix and the appellant's brief via NYSCEF, if applicable, or, if NYSCEF is not mandated, serve the record or appendix and the appellant's brief and upload digital copies of the record or appendix and the appellant's brief, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website.
