DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeal from a judgment of the County Court, Orange County, rendered April 27, 2017. Motion by the appellant for waiver of costs, fees, and expenses. By order to show cause dated April 15, 2024, the appellant was directed to show cause before this Court why an order should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal on the ground that the appellant has abandoned the appeal, and appellant's motion was held in abeyance in the interim. Separate motion by the appellant to extend the time to perfect the appeal.

Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, and upon the papers filed in support of appellant's motions and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is granted and the appeal is dismissed; and it is further,

ORDERED that the motions by the appellant are denied as academic.
