Motion by appellant for an extension of time to perfect an appeal from a final judgment of the City Court of White Plains, Westchester County, entered February 1, 2024, and to continue a stay granted by decision and order on motion of this court dated February 6, 2023.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is granted and appellant shall perfect the appeal on or before November 14, 2025; and it is further,
ORDERED that the stay granted on February 6, 2025 shall continue pending a determination of the appeal; and it is further,
ORDERED that, in the event the appeal is not perfected by [insert date], the court, on its own motion, may dismiss the appeal or vacate the stay, or respondent may move, on three days' notice, to dismiss the appeal or vacate the stay, and may, if appellant is unrepresented, serve such motion upon appellant in person.
No further extensions will be granted.
