Motion by respondent to dismiss an appeal from a judgment of the Civil Court of the City of New York, Richmond County, entered March 7, 2024, or alternatively for an extension of time to serve and file a respondent's brief.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branch of the motion seeking to dismiss the appeal is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED the branch of the motion seeking an extension of time to serve and file a respondent's brief is granted and the respondent's brief shall be served and filed within 14 days of the date of this order; and it is further,

ORDERED that appellant, if they be so advised, may serve and file a reply brief within seven days of service upon it of respondent's brief.
