DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeals by Sherise R. from five orders of the Family Court, Queens County, dated December 10, 2024 (two orders), October 8, 2024 (two orders), and April 24, 2025, respectively. Motion by the petitioner-respondent for a reconstruction hearing with respect to the proceedings of the Family Court, Queens County, which occurred on November 12, 2024, and to extend the time to serve and file a brief. Motion by the attorney for the children Omari R. and Xamora R. to extend the time to serve and file a brief.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the branch of the motion by the respondent which is for a reconstruction hearing with respect to the proceedings of the Family Court, Queens County, which occurred on November 12, 2024, is granted, and the matter is referred to the Family Court, Queens County, for a reconstruction hearing concerning the proceedings which occurred on November 12, 2024; if the minutes cannot be reconstructed the Family Court shall issue a report to this Court with all convenient speed; and it is further,

ORDERED that the stenographer(s) and/or the transcription service(s) is/are required promptly to make and certify two transcripts of the reconstruction hearing, once said hearing has been completed, if the minutes can be reconstructed; the petitioner-respondent is directed to provide copies of said transcripts to all of the other parties to the appeals, including the attorneys for the children, if any; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion by the respondent which is to extend the time to serve and file a brief and the motion by the attorney for the children Omari R. and Xamora R. to extend the time to serve and file a brief, are held in abeyance in the interim; and it is further,

ORDERED that the petitioner-respondent is directed to serve a copy of this decision and order on motion on the clerk of the court from which the appeals are taken.
