respondent, v Jason M. Briggs, appellant.

(Docket Nos. V-2682-2021, V-2682-2021/2024C,

V-2682-2021/2024D)

DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeals from three orders of the Family Court, Orange County, all dated March 21, 2025. By order to show cause dated April 21, 2025, the parties were directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeals in the above-entitled proceedings on the ground that the appellant named in the notice of appeal is not aggrieved. Application, in effect, to deem the notice of appeal to reflect that Jason M. Briggs is the appealing party and to amend the caption accordingly.

Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, and upon the papers filed in support of the application and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeals is denied; and it is further,

ORDERED that the application is granted, the notice of appeal is deemed to reflect that Jason M. Briggs is the appealing party (see CPLR 2001; Matter of Tagliaferri, 1 NY3d 605), and the caption is amended accordingly.
