Petitioner-respondent having moved for assignment of counsel on the appeal taken herein from an order of the Supreme Court, Oneida County, entered September 25, 2024, and for other relief,
Now, upon reading and filing the papers with respect to the motion, and due deliberation having been had thereon,
It is hereby ORDERED that the motion insofar as its seeks assignment of counsel, pursuant to Mental Hygiene Law section 10.06, is granted, and Elizabeth S. Fortino, Director, Mental Hygiene Legal Service, 207 Genesee Street, 16th Floor, Utica, New York 13501-2876, is hereby assigned as petitioner's-respondent's counsel for the purposes of this appeal, and
It is further ORDERED that the motion insofar as it seeks to adjourn oral argument is granted, and the appeal is removed from the Court's December 8, 2025 day calendar and added to the calendar of the term of Court commencing April 6, 2026, and
It is further ORDERED that assigned counsel shall file and serve an answering brief on or before January 15, 2026.
