DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Appeals from five orders of the Family Court, Rockland County, dated July 26, 2024 (four orders), and July 29, 2024, respectively. Motion by the appellants to extend the time to perfect the appeals.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the appeals from the four orders dated July 26, 2024, are dismissed on the ground that they have been rendered academic as the orders have expired by their own terms; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to extend the time to perfect the appeals from the orders dated July 26, 2024, is denied as academic; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to extend the time to perfect the appeal from the order dated July 29, 2024, is granted, and the appellants' time to perfect the appeal from the order dated July 29, 2024, by causing the original papers constituting the record on appeal to be filed in the office of the Clerk of this Court (see 22 NYCRR 1250.9[a][5]), and by serving and filing the appellants' brief via NYSCEF, if applicable, or, if NYSCEF is not mandated, by serving the appellants' brief, and uploading a digital copy of the appellants' brief, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website, is extended until January 14, 2026.
