In the Matter of Michael N. Kelsey, admitted as Michael Norman Kelsey, a disbarred attorney. (Attorney Registration No. 4736690)
| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT |
Motion by Michael N. Kelsey for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Kelsey was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on October 7, 2009, under the name Michael Norman Kelsey. By opinion and order of this Court dated February 22, 2017, Kelsey was disbarred based on his conviction of a felony, and his name was stricken from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law, effective May 12, 2016 (see Matter of Kelsey, 148 AD3d 257).
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is denied.
We find that Michael N. Kelsey, admitted as Michael Norman Kelsey, does not demonstrate the requisite character and fitness to practice law.
LASALLE, P.J., DILLON, DUFFY, BARROS and IANNACCI, JJ., concur.
