Motions by the respective respondents (1) to stay appeals from orders of the Civil Court of the City of New York, Kings County, dated October 10, 2024, pending the determination of motions made by appellants herein seeking leave to appeal to the Appellate Division, Second Department, from decision and orders of this court dated January 19, 2024 in these respective proceedings and, if those motions are granted, pending the determinations of those appeals; (2) to continue the stays of enforcement of the orders dated October 10, 2024 which were granted by this court on March 12, 2025, and (3) for an extension of time to submit a respondent's brief on these respective appeals.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branches of the motions seeking to stay these appeals is denied; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branches of the motions seeking to continue the stays granted by this court on March 12, 2025 are denied as moot as those stays remain in effect; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branches of the motions seeking an extension of time to serve and file a respondent's briefs on the respective appeals are granted and the respondent's briefs shall be served and filed on or before 30 days of the date of this decision and order; and it is further,
ORDERED that appellants, if they be so advised, may serve and file reply briefs in the respective appeals within seven days of service upon them of respondent's briefs.
