DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION

Motion by Vlahadamis Law PLLC for leave to withdraw as counsel for the appellants on an appeal from a decision of the Justice Court of the Town of East Hampton, Suffolk County, dated January 15, 2025 and a final judgment of that court entered January 22, 2025, for a stay of eviction pending the determination of this motion, and for an extension of time to perfect the appeal.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and no papers having been filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branch of the motion seeking leave to withdraw as counsel is granted and on or before January 5, 2026, Vlahadamis Law PLLC shall serve its clients by one of the methods specified in CPLR 2103 (c), with a copy of this decision and order on motion and shall file proof of service with the Clerk of this Court; and it is further,
ORDERED that no further proceedings shall be taken against the appellants, without leave of the Court, until the expiration of 30 days after service upon it of a copy of this decision and order on motion; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branch of the motion seeking a stay pending the determination of this motion is denied as moot; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branch of the motion seeking an extension of time to perfect the appeal is granted and the appeal shall be perfected on or before February 20, 2026; and it is further,
ORDERED that in the event the appeal is not perfected by February 20, 2026, the court, on its own motion, may dismiss the appeal, or respondent may move, on three days' notice, to dismiss the appeal, and if the appellants are unrepresented, may serve such motion upon the appellants in person.
