| DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION |
Motion by Alicia Marie Cayne for leave to appeal to this Court from an order of the Family Court, Nassau County, dated March 28, 2024, to stay enforcement of the order, and for temporary custody of the subject child, pending hearing and determination of the appeal. Motion by Jaqueline Warren for waiver of costs, fees, and expenses, and for the assignment of counsel.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that branch of the motion which is for leave to appeal from the order is granted; and it is further,
ORDERED that branches of the motion which are to stay enforcement of the order and for temporary custody of the subject child are granted to the extent that so much of the order as grants Jaqueline Warren temporary custody of the subject child is stayed, and Alicia Marie Cayne is granted temporary custody of the subject child, pending hearing and determination of the appeal or the issuance of a final order determining the above-entitled proceeding, whichever occurs first; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motions are otherwise denied.
