Appeal from a judgment of the County Court, Suffolk County, rendered April 2, 2025. Motion by the appellant's assigned counsel to abate the appeal upon the death of the appellant on July 30, 2025.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is granted, the appeal is dismissed, and the matter is remitted to the County Court, Suffolk County, for further proceedings consistent with People v Mintz (20 NY2d 770).
