DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT

Motion by Michael Athy-Plunkett for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Athy-Plunkett was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on February 24, 2016. By decision and order dated June 1, 2023, the Court accepted Athy-Plunkett's voluntary resignation without prejudice to an application for reinstatement.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted on condition that on or before May 18, 2026, Michael Athy-Plunkett, file with the Clerk of the Court (1) proof of payment for the current registration period, and (2) certificates of completion of accredited continuing legal education courses, which reflect that the courses are approved in New York in the subject areas required by 22 NYCRR 691.11(c); and it is further,

ORDERED that upon receipt of proof as directed above, the Clerk of the Court shall restore the name of Michael Athy-Plunkett, to the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law, and Michael Athy-Plunkett, shall be reinstated as an attorney and counselor-at-law.
