Appeal from an order of the Family Court, Suffolk County, dated March 27, 2025.
Motion by the attorney for the child, inter alia, to extend the time to serve and file a brief.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition and in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that on the Court's own motion, the parties to the appeal are directed to show cause before this Court why an order should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal on the ground that the order has been superseded by an order of disposition of the same court dated July 21, 2025, by each uploading a digital copy of an affirmation or affidavit, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website on or before April 20, 2026; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion by the attorney for the child is held in abeyance in the interim; and it is further,
ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court, or his designee, is directed to serve a copy of this order to show cause upon the parties to the appeal by uploading a copy of this order to show cause to the NYSCEF system.
