Overview
A Drug Treatment Court is a specialized, collaborative "problem-solving" court that offers non-violent, substance-addicted offenders an alternative to incarceration. Participants undergo court-supervised treatment and frequent testing with the opportunity for charges to be reduced or dismissed upon successful completion.
The mission of the Delaware County Family Treatment Court is to encourage the long-term recovery of addicted parents and promote the safety of children in these families through permanency.
