The Criminal Term is made up of specialized departments that help the court run smoothly. Below is a list of those departments with an overview of each

The Supreme Court Law Library of Queens has an extensive microform collection which is housed in over two dozen large capacity fiche and film cabinets in the library.

Among the many titles in microform are session laws of the 50 states and territories; superseded NY state statutes; federal and state appellate court opinions; the National Reporter System; periodicals; the federal register, a complete set of the annual code of federal regulations and early nominative reports; records and briefs of the New York Court of Appeals and Appellate Division; and international treaties and NYS legislative documents.

The microforms collection room also contains viewing and duplicating equipment. The library's Screen Scan digital scanner system permits users to email copies of microfilm or fiche documents to any email address or to any fax machine.

A complete list of all of the Law Library's microform holdings is available at the Reserve Desk and in the microforms room.
