Resolve Your Case Without Going to Court

The Court partners with The Center for Dispute Settlement, which offers mediation to resolve child custody and visitation issues. Please contact CDS for assistance with your case.

Effective May 1, 2025:
All emergency petitions must be filed thirty (30) minutes prior to the courthouse closing to be considered for same-day review and potential hearing. Emergency petitions submitted after the cutoff time will be scheduled for the next business day, except in extraordinary circumstances. If you are seeking a temporary order of protection after the cutoff time and the petition will not be heard on the same day, you may seek the temporary order of protection from a criminal court. The cutoff time applies only to custody/visitation and family offense proceedings.
