Reminder as to Who May Sign a Judgment of Divorce
In New York State, a Judgment of Divorce can be signed by any Justice, Acting Justice, Judicial Hearing Officer ( JHO), Court Attorney - Referee( sometimes referred to as a Referee). All such Judgements are authorized and recognized as final Judgments of Divorce.
Reminder as to New Short Form Financial Statement
The New Short Form Financial Statement referred to in 22 NYCRR 202.16(p) is for use in making applications for Publicly Funded Counsel only. It does not replace the Net Worth Statement required by 22 NYCRR 202.16(b) and DRL 236 (B)(4).
