Document Delivery Service

You can use our Document Delivery Service to request library materials.

Library materials will be forwarded to your email address. Generally, email requests are filled within four (4) business days. If an item is unavailable locally or online, we will contact you.

Document requests are limited to four (4) requests per month per individual/entity. If the request is for sections of a statute/regulation/rule/administrative order, the specific section or sub-section must be cited. Please do not include "et seq." Requests should not span more than one chapter/article/topic and should not exceed 20 pages overall.

All requests are filled during normal hours of court operation (Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, excluding New York State legal holidays and the annual court recess period from December 25 to January 1).

Copyright notice

The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the reproduction, distribution, adaptation, public performance, and public display of copyrighted material.

Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these provided conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship, or research." If a user makes a request for, or later uses, a photocopy or reproduction for purposes in excess of "fair use," that user may be liable for copyright infringement.

This institution reserves the right to refuse to accept a request if, in its judgment, fulfillment of the order could involve a violation of copyright law.
