Appeals from three orders of the Family Court, Dutchess County, dated June 11, 2024 (two orders), and June 14, 2024, respectively. Motion by the respondent to dismiss the appeals on the ground that they have been rendered academic or, in the alternative, to extend the time to serve and file a brief. Motion by the attorney for the children to dismiss the appeals on the ground that they have been rendered academic or, in the alternative, to extend the time to serve and file a brief.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motions and no papers having been filed in opposition or in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branches of the motions which are to dismiss the appeals are held in abeyance and referred to the panel of Justices hearing the appeals for determination upon the argument or submission thereof; and it is further,
ORDERED that the branches of the motions which are to extend the time to serve and file a brief are granted, and on or before May 1, 2026, the respondent and the attorney for the children shall serve and file their respective briefs via NYSCEF, if applicable, or, if NYSCEF is not mandated, serve the briefs and upload a digital copy of the briefs, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website.
