[*1]DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION FOR REINSTATEMENT
Motion by Errol G. Gentles for reinstatement to the Bar as an attorney and counselor-at-law. Gentles was admitted to the Bar at a term of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in the Second Judicial Department on March 22, 1989, under the name Errol Gaston Gentles. By decision and order dated June 1, 2007, Gentles' application for voluntary resignation was accepted and the name of Errol G. Gentles, admitted as Errol Gaston Gentles, was removed from the roll of attorneys and counselors-at-law, without prejudice to an application for reinstatement.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion is held in abeyance, and the matter is referred to a Committee on Character and Fitness to investigate and report on Errol G. Gentles' character and fitness to practice law.
