[*1]DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION
2026-01427
Mayloubly Jean, respondent, v City of New
York, et al., appellants.
(Index No. 500911/2016)
Appeals from two orders of the Supreme Court, Kings County, dated September 5, 2025, and January 5, 2026, respectively. Motion by the respondent pursuant to CPLR 5519(c) to vacate any automatic stay of enforcement of the orders, and, in effect, to set an expedited briefing schedule and for a preference in the calendaring of the appeals.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that the branch of the motion which is to vacate any automatic stay of enforcement of the order is denied as unnecessary as there is no automatic stay pursuant to CPLR 5519(a) in effect; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion is otherwise denied.
