[*1]DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION
2026-03105
In the Matter of Shauna Kamiel, appellant,
v Chanel Merchant, respondent.
(Docket No. O-13179-2025, O-13181-2025)
Appeals from two orders of the Family Court, Queens County, both dated March 6, 2026. Motion by the appellant, inter alia, to stay enforcement of the orders, pending hearing and determination of the appeals.
Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, it is
ORDERED that on the Court's own motion the appeals are dismissed, without costs or disbursements, on the ground that no appeal lies as of right from orders that are not the result of a motion made on notice (see CPLR 5701), and we decline to grant leave to appeal; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion is denied as academic.
IANNACCI, J.P., VOUTSINAS, GOLIA and QUIRK, JJ., concur.
