Appeals from two orders of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, both dated October 6, 2025. Motion by the respondents under Appellate Division Docket No. 2025-14071 to extend the time to serve and file a brief. Cross-motion by the appellant People of the State of New York for a preference in the calendaring of the appeal under Appellate Division Docket No. 2025-14071 and for the appeals to be calendared and heard together.

Upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition thereto, and upon the papers filed in support of the cross-motion and no papers having been file in opposition thereto, it is

ORDERED that the motion is granted and on or before June 10, 2026, the respondents under Appellate Division Docket No. 2025-14071 shall serve and file their respondents' brief via NYSCEF, if applicable, or, if NYSCEF is not mandated, serve their brief and upload a digital copy of their brief, with proof of service thereof, through the digital portal on this Court's website; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the cross-motion which is for a preference in the calendaring of the appeal under Appellate Division Docket No. 2025-14071 is granted and the appeal under Appellate Division Docket No. 2025-14071 will be calendared expeditiously after all briefs have been filed; and it is further,

ORDERED that the branch of the cross-motion which is for the appeals to be calendared and heard together is granted, the appeals will be calendared together and will be argued or submitted on the same date.
