[*1]DECISION & ORDER ON MOTION
Appeal from an order of the Family Court, Suffolk County, dated March 27, 2025. Motion by the attorney for the child, inter alia, to extend the time to serve and file a brief. By order to show cause dated March 20, 2026, the parties were directed to show cause before this Court an order should not be made and entered dismissing the appeal on the ground that the order has been superseded by an order of disposition of the same court dated July 21, 2025, and the motion by the attorney for the child was held in abeyance in the interim.
Now, upon the order to show cause and the papers filed in response thereto, and upon the papers filed in support of the motion and the papers filed in opposition and in relation thereto, it is
ORDERED that the motion to dismiss the appeal is granted and the appeal is dismissed, without costs or disbursements; and it is further,
ORDERED that the motion by the attorney for the child is denied as academic.
