(Index No. 611519/2019)
Appeals and cross-appeal from two orders of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, dated August 19, 2021, and March 15, 2022, respectively, appeal from an order of the same court dated April 30, 2024, and appeal from a purported judgment entered August 21, 2025. The appeal from the purported judgment was deemed dismissed pursuant to 22 NYCRR 1250.10(a).
On the Court's own motion, it is
ORDERED that the parties to the appeal are directed to show cause before this Court why an order should or should not be made and entered dismissing the appeals and cross-appeals from the orders on the ground that the right of direct appeal from the orders terminated upon entry in the above-entitled action of the purported judgment (see Matter of Aho, 39 NY2d 241) and/or on the ground that the orders have been superseded by the purported judgment, by serving and filing, via NYSCEF, a digital copy of an affirmation or an affidavit on that issue on or before July 31, 2026; if the appellants be so advised, the appellant may make a motion, via NYSCEF, on or before July 31, 2026, for any relief deemed appropriate; and it is further,
ORDERED that the Clerk of the Court, or his designee, shall serve a copy of this order to show cause upon the parties to the appeals by uploading a copy of this order to show cause to the NYSCEF system.
