Court Hours:
9 a.m.-5 p.m. (or later if court sessions are protracted - doors to the courtrooms are opened at 9:15 a.m.)

Locations:
The Supreme Court Criminal Term is housed in two separate buildings. 100 Centre Street is one block north of Worth Street (between Hogan Place and White Street). The building is approximately three blocks south of Canal Street. 111 Centre Street is on the southwest corner of Centre and White Streets.

Public Parking:
Public Parking is located across the street from 100 Centre (Metered).

Building Rules:
No smoking, radio playing, tape recorders or cameras.

Courtroom Rules:
No eating, drinking, talking, reading or sleeping. No use of laptop computers or personal stereos. All beepers and cell phones must be turned off.

Child Care Services/Children's Center:
Located at 111 Centre Street within the Lobby--Room 103. Ages from infancy to 7 years.
Hours: 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. Telephone number (212) 577-8769.
Children's Center services are free and available to the public.

Law Library:
A public access library is available at 80 Centre Street. Hours: Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Security:
Before entering both courthouses, all visitors are subject to search by magnetometer. All bags, packages, attache cases and personal effects will be searched.

Access For Persons With Disabilities:
Public entrances and exits as well as public bathrooms in both courthouses are accessible to people with disabilities. "Real time" transcription of court reporters' minutes is available for people who are deaf. Audio enhancement equipment is also available for individuals with hearing impairments.

The anti-discrimination panel members offer an informal complaint procedure to address and resolve claims of bias, discrimination and sexual harassment related to employment. Panel members are available to provide support, information and options. A coffee shop and newsstand are available in the lobby of 100 Centre Street. A newsstand is located at 111 Centre Street.

Over 250 Supreme Court employees have e-mail access. The e-mail address is the first initial of the first name of the employee followed by the first seven letters of the last name of the employee followed by @courts.state.ny.us (for example, Chief Clerk Alan Murphy's e-mail address is amurphy@courts.state.ny.us).
