HARDSHIP DECLARATION MORATORIUM ENDS JANUARY 15, 2022

Pursuant to Administrative Order 35/22, effective January 15, 2022, all residential and commercial mortgage foreclosure matters may resume in the normal course. All cases that had been stayed due to the filing of a Hardship Declaration will be restored to active conference and motion calendars. No new Hardship Declarations may be filed.

Foreclosure Auctions

Scheduling Auctions

Consistent with Administrative Order of the Chief Administrative Judge AO/35/22, all auctions must be conducted in accordance with the district/county auction plan. In Suffolk County, the Suffolk County Supreme Court Clerk Fiduciary Office must be notified of auction dates/times by the filing of a Notice of Sale via NYSCEF or, in the event of a non-efiled foreclosure, by email to: suffauctions@nycourts.gov. The auctions will continue to take place at the Town Halls throughout Suffolk County. The Fiduciary Office will maintain auction calendars reflecting the auctions scheduled at each Town Hall and those calendars will be accessible through E-courts.

Foreclosure auctions take place at each town hall as calendared by the Foreclosure Referee. The listed auction information is updated daily and is subject to change at any time. The accuracy of the scheduling information posted on the court’s website is dependent upon the information provided by the Plaintiff and/or the referees responsible for scheduling and conducting these auctions.
