New resource for requesting a Waiver of Citation and Consent
To help practitioners and estate representatives submit complete and accurate requests for a waiver of citation and avoid unnecessary delays, the Tax Department refreshed Form AU-67, Instructions for requesting a Waiver of Citation and Consent from the Tax Department. (printer-friendly version). The links will open to a third-party website.

The instruction addresses some common issues:

  • presented in chart format the forms and supplemental documents required for each proceeding, so you may ensure your submissions are complete;
  • added the address for private delivery;
  • provided a general turnaround time; and
  • included filing tips and suggestions (what to send, what not to send).
