40 Days for Democracy - September 18 through October 27
This program extends the celebration of Constitution and Citizenship Day into an all-encompassing civic learning experience. This creative, educator-led initiative provides a flexible 40-day instructional period to enhance understanding of the U.S. Constitution and democracy, making it easier for teachers to incorporate civic learning into their packed schedules. Open to all grade levels, this initiative also invites participation from after-school and community programs.
